Norbert's procedure has been a success.

Norbert Tibeau arrived in April in New Haven Connecticut and has been residing at St Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield, Ct.  He has had a successful intervention to stabilize the aneurism in his brain.  The following article accounts the participation of Partners in Health Right to Health Care program and Yale University Medical Center.  http://yalemedicalgroup.org/tibeau2011

We are grateful for all of those who participated in the process of obtaining care that was not available to Norbert in Haiti.  We would like to thank Patrick Alziphat who worked as interpreter for Norbert while in Haiti.  We would also like to thank Evan Lyon MD, our first contact with Partners in Health as well as David Walton MD from Partners in Health.  We would also like to thank Amber Olberc, Naomi Rosenberg, and Sybil Hypolite who directed the Right to Health Care Program at PIH during the time period that Norbert was obtaining images at CEDIMAT in Santo Domingo.

We would like to thank the many people at Yale who made this possible.

We would also like to thank Fr. Andrew Small OMI formerly from the US Council of Catholic Bishops and Monsignor Gerald G Schmidtz of St. Thomas Seminary who provided housing for Norbert while in the US.

Lastly, we would like to thank God for the grace and blessing of so many people working toward a common goal to help Norbert.
